The Fort McMurray fundraiser is coming to an end on Friday! As a class we have been discussing what "Alberta Strong" means. Albertans have been through a lot over the last few years; the Slave Lake Fires, the Southern Alberta Floods and now the Fort McMurray Wild Fires. We have learned that Albertans are resilient, brave, courageous, patient, calm, hopeful, helpful and STRONG!
Here is the Alberta Strong anthem that shows how Albertans came together during the Wild Fires. We are still accepting donations for the Red Cross! If you can, PLEASE donate by Friday! As a class, we currently have raised $25. Our class goal is to collect $50 for the Red Cross! Comments are closed.
